Watermaker 200-DML-1,
a break through in efficiency for desalination systems, utilizing triplex ceramic plunger pumps was achieved.
Triplex plunger pumps are known to be the most reliable high pressure pumps available on today's market.
The ECHOTec. pump is a low revolution (570 RPM) Duplex stainless steel (Titanium) stainless steel version, driven by a highly efficient permanent magnet motor, designed for continuous duty under tropical conditions.
No low reliable and service intensive energy recovery pumps or irreparable electronic circuits that can stall the entire system are used on any ECHOTec.Watermaker. |

These desalination systems are made without "bells and whistles" for live aboard offshore cruising with peace
of mind.
As for all other ECHOTec. systems only highest quality raw materials,
that have proven to withstand continuous duty in a harsh marine environment are selected for ultimate reliability and lifetime. All wetted components including the true regulating pressure valve and all high pressure fittings are made of Duplex stainless steel.
For economical maintenance we do not use proprietary components that bound you to purchase expensive consumables only available from the original manufacturer.
Standard filters, chemicals and
membranes can be obtained anywhere. |

Reverse Osmosis performance varies with the feed water temperature and salinity.
The rated performance is tested at 26ºC / 80ºF water temperature and a salinity of 35000 ppm TDS.
